Gamescom 2016 will happen in Cologne, Germany from Aug. 17 to 21, 2016. Blizzard Entertainment is getting ready to showcase several of its top titles, including much-awaited livestreams.
Blizzard stated in its Battlenet Blog that a special preview video will be featured on Aug. 16, 2016 at 18:30 CEST. The clip will include all the things that they will be presenting at GamesCom 2016, including new game content. Fans can watch everything live on the GamesCom 2016 hub by Blizzard. Furthermore, visitors of the Blizzard GamesCom 2016 booth, located at Hall 7 of the Koelnmesse, will get the chance to play several titles like "World of Warcraft," "Overwatch," "Heroes of the Storm," "Diablo," "Hearthstone" and "StarCraft."
There will be over 500 gaming stations at the site for Blizzard fans at GamesCom 2016. The game developer will reportedly also include some great entertainment on the Blizzard stage, as well as offer surprises to visitors. From Aug. 18 to 21, 2016, The Legion Café at GamesCom 2016 will feature a recreation of The Fel Hammer to central Cologne to celebrate the nearing release of the latest expansion of "World of Warcraft."
Blizzard at GamesCom 2016 will also allow booth visitors to try the new Demon Hunter Class, ahead of the launch of "World of Warcraft: Legion" on Aug. 30, 2016. "Set Sail for Fail" and "From Scratch," a couple of the best guilds in "WoW" will compete in a race in Legion's top tier difficulty dungeons (Mythic +) live on the Blizzard stage. "WoW" streamer Slootbag will also be live-streaming straight from the Blizzard booth at GamesCom 2016.
At GamesCom 2016, Blizzard will also showcase dance and costume contests, quizzes, signing sessions, a couple of performances from Video Games Live on August 19 and 20. GamesCom 2016 visitors can get licensed apparel and collectible items at the Blizzard store in Hall 5.
Fans who cannot come to GamesCom 2016 can still watch daily livestreams of the Blizzard events and stage activities on the GamesCom 2016 hub. There will also be a daily recap video every evening. More updates and details on Blizzard at GamesCom 2016 are set to follow.
