Recent claims surrounding "Outlander" Season 3 might come as a surprise for the fans and followers of the series. Notions have skyrocketed that Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are now busted with their true emotions. However, there are no affirmations from both sides that Claire and Jamie's roles have surfaced to the real world.
In a former post from Parent Herald, it relayed the possibility that "Outlander" Season 3 might undergo delay. Rumors have surfaced that Caitriona Balfe's present condition is not fit to get the job done. The tasking demands of portraying Claire have taken its toll on Caitriona and are presumed to require time.
Despite the rumors that have surged, there were no confirmations that these presumptions are true and credible. The same post also relayed that Sam Heughan is not thrilled with the actions of the fans and followers, which is why the work for "Outlander" Season 3 is impeded.

The International Business Times also conveyed that one of the probable sets for the filming of "Outlander" Season 3 is at an abandoned hospital. Some claims have also surfaced and it indicated that some scenes were taken in Glasgow.

However, there are no affirmations that these are indeed the scenes for "Outlander" Season 3 and both Starz and the showrunners were tight-lipped on the places where filming was done. According to the same report, since both Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are seen watching the Rio Olympics, filming is currently in hiatus.
