As Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 gets set for its November release, players can now pre-purchase the game's Season Pass through Steam.
The Pass will include four Epic DLC Map Packs with new content that includes Multiplayer and Zombies playable content. The Season Pass is available at $49.99.
Meanwhile, Black Ops 2 is no longer region-based. Earlier, players from developing countries could not connect with the U.S. or European players even if they had a good connection and an ISP with great routing services, Gamingbolt reported.
This drew criticism from fans and the game's creator Treyarch has now changed this. It is currently based on latency and ping, so anyone having a decent connection can play with other region players.
In other news, website Trueachievements reports of a super-short teaser video of a revamped Nuketown 2025.
Online retailer Amazon is reportedly adding more bonuses for pre-ordering Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The pre-order bonus will include a $5 Amazon Instant Video Credit that goes along with an Amazon-exclusive Kindle Rightful King backstory, Nuketown 2025 multiplayer map, access to Double XP Opening Weekend and exclusive wallpaper.
The game is a sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops that came out in 2010.
The much-awaited game is set to launch Nov. 13 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will be released for Nintendo's Wii U Nov. 18.
