Well, I know it is cool to post photos of Pokemons with your couch as its background in social media, however it is much easier to catch a Pokemon in "Pokemon GO" with AR turned off. By doing this, the Pokemon that you are about to catch will always be in place in the middle. Making it much less difficult to target
Poke Dodge!
This is not the latest dance craze or the newest item in the game. But kidding aside, Pokemons do dodge PokeBall throws as well. Just perfectly time a throw just when the Pokemon is done jumping or dodging, that's the time to strike.
Curveball
The curveball is a method of spinning the PokeBall and throwing in a curved manner. Now this is rumored to increase you chances in catching a Pokemon, however that is not proved at any means as of yet.
