Nordic Games may have hinted the spawning of "Darksiders 3," though no confirmation has been made. The circumstances that the company has faced may be a massive in delay or even the cancellation of the game entirely.
According to Parent Herald, "Darksiders 3" could be lurking behind the shadows given that the installment came about four years before. However, instances such as the company's closure due to bankruptcy hindered in the potential creation of a continuity.
Light may have shined over the fans' hopes as Nordic Games has been granted the licensure and rights to make "Darksiders 3" come forth. Rumors have spoken of the title surfacing by 2017 at the earliest, some eyeing at 2018.
In relation to "Darksiders 3," THQ Nordic is slated to release a "Darksiders: Warmastered Edition" later within the year, The Country Caller reports. Come October 25, the aforementioned edition will arrive for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U and PC, featuring the series' first entry with highly improved graphics and gameplay made at 60fps.
Generally, THQ Nordic hears out the fans' craving for a "Darksiders 3" to follow the success of the second installment. For the time being, gamers can settle with IP's such as "Red Faction," "Destroy All Humans," "Frontliners" and "MX vs ATV."
