A recent leak revealed new Pokemon native to the islands of Alola, which will appear in the upcoming titles "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Some of the Pokemonin "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are completely new, while others are the Alolan versions of well-known favorites.
The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" video first featured Wishiwashi, a water-type fish Pokemon with two known versions. Wishiwashi in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has a Solo Form and a more powerful School Form. Wishiwashi is not much when in Solo Form. When the Pokemon attains a certain level, it will transform into a massive school of fish with the Schooling ability, which sends of powerful water attacks against its enemies.
Nintendo News revealed that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will include Morelull and Pyukumuku. Morelull is a grass/fairy-type Pokemon with the Illuminate or Effect Spore ability. Pyukumuku is a water-type Pokemon that looks much like a sea cucumber with the Innards Out ability. Pyukumuku was shown in the clip changing its guts into an offensive weapon.
One of the more interesting creatures that was shown was Raichu in Alola form. The electric/psychic-type Pokemon had the Surge Surfer ability. The new Raichu appeared smaller compared to its previous form. The Pokemon can reportedly gain an advantage in an electric environment in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."
Aside from the Alolan version of Raichu in "Pokemon Sun and Moon," an Alolan take on Meowth was also introduced, a dark-type creature which has the Pickup/Technician ability. There was an Alolan version of Marowak, the fire/ghost-type Pokemon with the Cursed Body/Lightning Rod ability. More teaser videos also showed a number of Pokemon in Alolan form, with new abilities.
The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" teaser also showcased some of the members of Team Skull, the new villain in the game. The group is headed by big boss Guzma. Another trainer, Plumeria, is an admin and Team Skull's Big Sister. There were a couple of Team Skull Grunts as well preparing to battle their Pokemon. The group are expected to showcase a number of unique Pokemon when the game launches.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" are set to launch on Nov. 18, 2016. More updates and details on "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are set to follow soon.
