Taking over the helm for "Shadowhunters" Season 2 will be Todd Slaykin and Darren Swimmer, best known as former Smallville showrunners. With the showrunner problem solved promptly, fans can expect a "Shadowhunters" season 2 release date on schedule.
This would not be Slaykin and Swimmer's first time to delve into the supernatural genre. Aside from Smallville, the duo was also showrunners of Syfy's Dominion. It is safe to assume that they will be bringing to the "Shadowhunters" Season 2 their experience and expertise in all matters supernatural.
