“Pokemon Go” is all about collecting the Pokemons as much as players can, something that can be done in select places.
As mentioned in a previous post, all that can be achieved by visiting the hotspot “PokeStops” as pre-determined by Niantic through Ingress back in 2013. It was also mentioned in that post that PokeStops leave a lot to be desired with the hotspots getting their share of criticism.
The immediate notion is to capture those elusive “Pokemon Go” characters though egg hatching can be a good alternative. Depending on the distances (or kilometers) covered, hatching eggs at the right time can determine the quality of Pokemons caught.
The farther the better?
There are three eggs to consider. These are the 2KM, 5KM and 10KM eggs. As one could easily depict, the 10KM eggs offers the best chances of returning top-tier “Pokemon Go” critters.
While this is not to discredit the 2KM and 5KM collectibles, “Pokemon Go” players who want the rarest need to (technically) walk the extra mile. Do take note that even if you hatch eggs at the right time, they will be in their base forms meaning evolution is still a need.
What exactly are the produce of the eggs when hatched? Serebii is a good source to see egg hatches though there are other sites who share them as well thanks to die-hard “Pokemon Go” addicts.
Among the top Pokemon critters one stands to get with the 10KM class include Onix, Hitmonlee, Scyther, Eevee, Aerodactyl, Snorlax and Dratini. There are several other region-locked Pokemons (“Fartech’d” and “Tauros”) though some believe that these are done with the aid of the dreaded GPS spoofing methods.
Take note that aside from the egg hatching and Pokemon hunting, extra XP are also to be expected. Similar to the chances of spawning “Pokemon Go” character, the numbers will depend on factors like distance.
For those looking to find alternative ways to hatch your collected eggs on “Pokemon Go” this post could be of good use.
