As time passes by, cross system online play is becoming one of the things that is considered by the gamers and as of today, only the games Street Fighter and Killer Instinct are the ones which are supporting this cross system play with their console versions.
The coming "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is set for release on PS4, XBox One and PC. As of today, Bandai Namco is carefully thinking about having the upcoming "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" to have cross system play, but it is still not confirmed.
"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" game designer has recently said that the decision of having cross-play of the game between PS4, Xbox One and PC users will be under the hands of Sony.
The game designer, Michael Murray just recently answered one of his fan's appeal in his Twitter with regards of having a cross-play feature in the upcoming "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." He explained that Microsoft already made its public opinion about the possible cross-playing. "Please ask Sony. MS already publicly said they're interested in cross platform," said Murray.
According to PlayStation Universe, Sony is said that they are against cross-playing and it has opened their doors to PC users in the past with games such as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Street Fighter V. However, they have not extended its doors to Xbox One players just yet.
Release Date In Early 2017
"Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is set to launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017, but there are still no exact release date confirmed. "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is the latest instalment of the fighting game series that will still focus on the all-time Mishima family feud, which could possibly end after Heihachi and Kazuya fights head to head in a mighty scrap.
Over the years, Tekken has added loads of new mechanics into the game, including the Tail Spin that could give you time to extend your air combo and a powerful Range Arts. They also added new characters together with the old characters.
