With "Pokemon GO" unveiling in more countries as the days go by (it was recently released in the Philippines), gamers are taking to the streets to "catch 'em all." Of course, master trainers want to get ahead by luring and catching rare Pokemon, which can be done through utilizing incense. But what exactly is incense and how does one maximize its use to get as much Pokemon as possible?
Incense is a great tool for luring nearby Pokemon to the player. However, it is different from the Lure Modules, which on the other and increases the iteration of Pokemons within a specific area for all gamers. New players to the game are already equipped with two Incense, but if that's not enough, gamers can also purchase it via the shop for 80 PokeCoins apiece. Incense is also rewarded for gamers who reach levels 5, 7, 10, 15, and 20.
According to GameRant, the best way to use Incense is to first know what specific Pokemon is nearby by utilizing the Pokemon Tracker Tool, found at the lower right-hand corner of the map in the main screen. This will enable the gamer to find out what Pokemon is in the immediate area and what Pokemon the gamer has yet to capture. Once the gamer can see what Pokemon may be lurking around, it's time to use this "Pokemon GO" trick.
GameRant explains that using Incense while walking will result to better captures, because those who use it while immobile will only get one Pokemon appearance per five minutes for every usage of Incense, which lasts for 30 minutes. Those who do explore their immediate area will be able to find one Pokemon per minute of mobility, or for every 200 meters traveled playing "Pokemon GO."
The key, really, is to stay mobile while using Incense to increase the number of creatures captured in "Pokemon GO." According to VG247, Incense has become more effective since the first update arrived this month, resulting to better Pokemon capture for trainers and gamers.
