As the "Outlander" Season 3 production is about to commence, people behind the American-British television series are now looking for new cast members to fill the roles of Lord John Grey and Young Ian. In fact, the show's executive producer Maril Davis shared a tweet confirming the casting call for the Diana Gabaldon based historical fantasy drama.

Marila Davis answered the query of one of the "Outlander" Season 3's awaiting fans about the casting of the show. "We've started casting, yes," she responded to the tweet. Lord John Grey was first introduced in "Outlander" Season 2 as the young British soldier.

He thought Jamie (San Heughan) captive Claire (Caitriona Balfe), so he could give him more details about the site of Red Coats before the Battle of Prestonpans. The young Ian, on the other hand, is the son of Jenny (Laura Donnelly), Jamie's sister, and her husband Ian (Steven Cree). According to Christian News, Young Ian will play an important role in the lives of Sam and Claire in "Outlander" Season 3.
Moreover, there are assumptions that the character of Lord John Grey will be played by Tom Felton in "Outlander" Season 3. "Outlander" fans think that the "Harry Potter" star has all the qualifications and traits, from the accent and the hair color, to perfectly portray the role.
'Outlander' Season 3 Episode 1 Predictions
Meanwhile, Outlander Online revealed the predictions of how the "Outlander" Season 3's premiere episode will unfold. Based on the book version, "Voyager," the first episode might start in the war of Culloden, where Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies) will be seen dead.
Jamie (Sam Heughan), too, may be seen badly wounded and in critical condition in the first episode of "Outlander" Season 3. British Major Lord Melton will, then, arrive and proclaim that every traitor will be executed. Hence, every Highlander ends up giving their name and taken to be killed.
