It's August and that means, new Xbox free Games with Gold to all Xbox live Gold members are all set to launch. Microsoft is known to announce their games few days before the new month, but these titles coming up are nothing like you've read before. Today, the titles Warriors Orochi Ultimate 3 and Spelunky on Xbox 360 will be available for download.
Fortunately for Spelunky, the game is also available on the Xbox One backwards compatibility titles. So, Xbox One gamers will not feel like they're losing a good game for free. Starting August 16 on the other hand, Xbox live Gold members will be able to download WWE 2K16 and Beyond Good and Evil HD through the Xbox free Games with Gold for August.
In the later part of July, Tumblestone was announced as one of the Xbox free Games with Gold and it sure runs through August so players may want to take note on that. For non members, the Warriors of Orochi can be bought for $59.99 available from August 1-31. The WWE 2K16 on the other hand is priced at $39.99 and is available from August 16 - September 16.
For the Xbox free Games with Gold on the Xbox 360, Spelunky is priced at $19.99, available from August 1-15 and Beyond Good & Evil HD for $9.99, available from August 16 - September 15. Meanwhile, Sony's PS Plus free Games with Gold for August include Tricky Towers, Rebel Galaxy, Yakuza 5, Retro/Grade, Patapon 3 and Ultratron.
Among the two, Sony usually gives out more titles on their freebies while the Xbox free Games with Gold arrive at a much less numbers. But in an earlier date of announcement; something like a heads up to those who are expecting the Xbox free Games with Gold.
