Will Chase revealed that his character as Luke Wheeler will be no longer seen in "Nashville" Season 5. But, he is still looking forward to watch the new installment on its new network. "I can't wait to watch it because it'll be great to let all of these characters breathe a bit and have some scenes that last more than 45 seconds," he said.

In the upcoming 22 episodes on CMT, the series regulars, like Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Sam Palladio, Jonathan Jackson, Clare Bowen, Lennon Stella, Maisy Stella and Chris Carmack are the ones who will be back in Music City.
TV chairman Kevin Beggs unveiled that they intentionally made the "Nashville" Season 4 finale with a major cliffhanger. In fact, they would not have opted to have an ending like that if they think that a Season 5 will not be in production. "Nashville Season 5 is set to be released this fall on its new network, CMT.
