“Pokemon Go” continues its frantic run of captivating players to hunt down the characters in the real world using various platforms. It is available on iOS and Android and a logical expectation is to see the game debut on the Nintendo NX.
Nintendo’s highly touted game console has yet to hit the market but that will not prevent “Pokemon Go” gamers from expecting its imminent coming. The chances of seeing it on the portable console remain up in the air with light shed most likely once the Nintendo NX does officially come out in the open.
Vague as they come
“Pokemon Go” has not entirely been confirmed though such would depend on how people would analyze Nintendo’s take on bringing all of the company’s mobile games to the much-anticipated game console.
Right now, Nintendo is keeping a tight lid on the matter similar to why it did not showcase a prototype of the Nintendo NX at E3. Much of that was covered in a previous post which you can back-read here.
“Pokemon Go” gamers hope for the best
Right now, the Nintendo NX is being groomed as a handheld console that can be hooked up and played right in the walls of anyone’s home. While it does have its own display, the feature that allows it to be hooked up to larger displays is present. It will also come with detachable controllers for added flexibility, Eurogamer reported.
Based on feedbacks, a lot of “Pokemon Go” players would be happy if the game does become available on the upcoming Nintendo NX. It could provide features that would require gamers to catch Pokemon characters right inside their walls, though there are likely to be limitations.
One growing issue right now is the GPS-linked feature that requires “Pokemon Go” gamers to go out and hunt the characters. Safety issues are raised but GPS spoofing is being singled out as a violation of the game’s Terms and Conditions.
