Earlier this week, a leak about a remastered version of "Darksiders" surfaced online. Finally, the video game publisher Nordic Games confirmed the news on their own official website.
Enhancements
According to Nordic Games, the upcoming enhanced version of the game will be called "Darksiders Warmastered Edition." It is bound to carry a lot of improvements compared to the 2010 version of the original "Darksiders." One of the most visible enhancements it would hold is it can now run at 1080p game consoles.
"Darksiders Warmastered Edition," too, can now hit 60 frames per second on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, but its Wii U version will be limited to just 30 frames per second. Other changes it has are the doubled texture resolutions and its rendering now gets better and rework. It also bears a superior shadow rendering excellence and now bearing post processing effect.

Meanwhile, Nordic Games also noted the new features of the upcoming "Darksiders Warmastered Edition." It will now exhibit Apocalyptic Power that will let loose the wrath of war. This force will let the players try a combination of cruel hits and supernatural skills that will definitely take down the enemies.
Extreme Arsenal is "Darksiders Warmastered Edition" armory that holds angelic, demonic and Earthly weapons. Epic Quest will let the gamers fight across the wilderness and dungeons full of evils to take vengeance and salvation. Moreover, Character Progression has the ability to uncover great antique artifacts, upgrade weapons, unlock new skills and modify gameplay method.
Lastly, Battle and Heaven Hell allows the gamers to fight anyone who comes their way. "Darksiders Warmastered Edition" is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U and PC. Its release date has yet to be revealed, but Destructoid noted that it is expected to be out in the last quarter of 2016 with a tentative price of $20.
