Pokemon GO Plus has been delayed due to unknown reasons, Nintendo posted on its Twitter account. A report from Polygon suggests that the reason behind the delay is the success of Pokemon GO in every part of the world, which gave the company a hard time keeping up with the demand of the device.
Pokemon GO Plus specs and features
The Pokemon GO Plus is a stand-alone wristwatch that makes players use less battery life with their smartphones while playing Pokemon GO. It uses Bluetooth to connect through the player's smartphone and will boost a player's gaming experience.
The design of Pokemon GO Plus has a Pokeball case cover and shaped like a Google Maps pin. The Pokemon GO Plus measures 46 x 33 x 15.55mm and weighs about 13 grams.
The Pokemon GO Plus can catch a Pokemon and do simple actions with the push on the button, thus making smartphones almost unusable. However, there is a setback, according to Nintendo, the Pokemon a player can catch is Pokemon the player has catched before.
The Pokemon Go Plus vibrates and blinks every time a player is with-in range of a Pokestop or when a Pokemon is nearby the area. However, Pokemon GO Plus only works on Apple iOS 8 and higher, but Niantic is working on an Android version as of July.
