“No Man’s Sky” has been in the news lately though it mostly involves that alleged “Superformula” debate between Hello Games and Genicap.
As detailed in a previous post, Genicap has accused Hello Games of patent-infringement issues for not allowing them to give their inputs. Sean Murray came forward recently to deny the allegations and says that “No Man’s Sky” is actually not using the celebrated algorithm credited to Johan Gielis.
While that drama tries to spoil the coming of “No Man’s Sky”, it is unlikely that such will prevent Hello Games from launching the ambitious space exploration game. A slight change in the scheduled was singled out by Attack of the Fan Boy and this will affect only the PC users.
Slight delay for PC gamers
“No Man’s Sky” will be available for the PS4 and the PC with players using the Sony game console getting first crack. The PS4 version will launch on Aug. 9 in North America and Aug. 10 in Europe. The PC version will be the last to debut, Aug. 12.
In short, the PC version of “No Man’s Sky” will be technically delayed by three days which may not be a big deal for the ones eager to play the space adventure game. It is seen better than waiting for months.
As far as game development is concerned, “No Man’s Sky” is complete. It already hit gold. Gamers can get hold of a copy for the PS4 via retail outlets or PSN while the PC version can be purchased digitally via Steam, GOG, Humble, or iam8bit.
With only a week of waiting, “No Man’s Sky” will finally come forward and show how the game developers were able to come up with a massive universe filled with an alleged 18 quintillion planets.
Stay tuned for more updates as “No Man’s Sky’s” coming is finally here!
