On their respective social media pages, "Scandal" Season 6 artists shared their snaps while in a meeting for their table read, as per Entertainment Weekly.

Kerry Washington, who plays the role of Olivia, shared a photo of her side at the table, complete with her nameplate. "We back, b******," the caption read, pertaining to the coming "Scandal" Season 6.
In another post, Kerry Washington gave a glimpse of her other costars in "Scandal" Season 6, like Darby Stanchfield (Abby), Katie Lowes (Quinn), Bellamy Young (Mellie) and Tony Goldwyn (President Fitzgerald) to her followers.

"Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes, on the other hand, also shared a short clip on her Twitter page showing the rest of the people behind "Scandal" Season 6.

Meanwhile, ABC announced the continuation of "Scandal" with Season 6 in March 2016. The network revealed it will be pushed to midseason that might premiere in 2017.
ABC's judgment to renew "Scandal" for Season 6 is quite expected as its season finale acquired a whopping 6.65 million viewers, Release Date reported.
In fact, TV critics and observers have nothing but good words and praises for the ending of "Scandal" Season 5. It even managed to maintain high TV ratings for the whole season.
As per IMDB's "Scandal" page, the show achieved a 7.9 out of 10 from 51,400 user votes from viewers' review and 48 from critics alike.
Rotten Tomatoes gave "Scandal" Season 5 an average of 7.1 out of 10 and 92 percent of approval rating from 12 critic reviews. The viewers, on the other hand, gave it 3.9 ratings out of 5 with 78 percent approbation from 77 user votes.
