Warner Bros just released the frist "Wonder Woman" 2017 movie trailer at the San Diego Comic Con. While the trailer was brief, it contains details that could certainly make for "Wonder Woman" 2017 spoilers.
'Wonder Woman' 2017 Movie Setting
At the start of the "Wonder Woman" 2017 movie trailer, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) is washed ashore and was found by Diana Prince / Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). Her first utterance was "You're a man."
Of course, this question confused Trevor because clearly, one can see that he is a man even at a glance. But the words tell audiences that the movie could be set in the famed Themyscira.
Themyscira is the Island of the Amazons where no man is allowed to set foot on it. Trevor's arrival on the island is such a rarity which explains Diana's cryptic statement.

From the "Wonder Woman" 2017 movie trailer, it also appears that the period where the upcoming movie would be set seems to be in the vicinity of World War 2. This can be deduced from the uniform on Trevor and other military men appearing in the later part of the trailer.
But probably the most telling sign that the upcoming "Wonder Woman" 2017 movie could be set in the vicinity of World War 2 are the airplanes being shown. All of the planes are propeller driven, the technology of that period. In addition, it would certainly agree with the well-known storyline that Trevor crashed into the island piloting a plane during the Second World War.
"Wonder Woman" 2017 Movies Spoiler - Wonder Woman On An Assassination Mission?
In the recently debuted "Wonder Woman" 2017 trailer, Wonder Woman could be seen leaving the island with Trevor. Diana even tried to blend in with the crowd by wearing appropriate clothes of the era.
While audience might have assumed at first that Diana was just accompanying Trevor in his journey home, the next events would quickly shatter that idyllic assumption. In a ball, Wonder Woman could be seen approaching what appears to be a high ranking man in the "Wonder Woman" 2017 movie trailer.
On her way to the man, it was revealed that Diana brought with her the Sword of Athena. It could be seen that she is in the act of drawing out her sword from her back. Does this mean the Diana is on an assassination mission?
"Wonder Woman" 2017 Movie Spoilers - Themyscira Under Siege
In the last part of the "Wonder Woman" trailer, a battle can be seen between an army of men and the Amazons. This is interesting because nobody is supposed to know where the Amazons' island is located.
One can only speculate that somehow, Diana might have been tricked into revealing the location of Themyscira. If the previous speculation that Diana assassinated a high ranking official is true, then it is therefore possible that the army's invasion to their island could be a consequence for that assault.
But then this spawns another question. Why would the Amazon meddle with the affairs of men this time when they have usually left the rest of the world to its own devices in the past?
