The game aficionados are now more excited for the coming of "Injustice 2" as its creative director revealed the new additions to the fighting video game. Ed Boon from NetherRealm Studios unveiled the inclusion of Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle at San Diego Comic-Con panel in the upcoming title.
Two New Superheroes
Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle will be included in "Injustice 2" as seen in a short trailer at San Diego Comic-Con.
The two superheroes joined other characters, like Batman, Superman, Supergirl, Aquaman, Atrocitus, Supergirl and Gorilla Grodd, who will also be in "Injustice 2."
Meanwhile, the addition of Blue Beetle came as a surprise as Wonder Woman was already revealed in conjunction with "Injustice 2."
Hence, it is quite expected that Wonder Woman will be back in "Injustice 2," Heavy reported.
Future Additions & Surprises
Moreover, Ed Boon hinted that "Injustice 2" will also have new additions in the future. In fact, there are hearsays that it could be from the known classic game "Mortal Kombat," according to Game Spot.
However, Ed Boon insisted that "Injustice 2" won't be added with the famous boss character Scorpion. "It likely won't be Scorpion again," he said.
"Scorpion was the most downloaded character in 'Injustice 1,' so we'd be idiots not to include another crossover character," Ed Boon explained about the new individual coming to "Injustice 2."
Aside from that, NetherRealm Studios also revealed that the "Injustice 1" comic writer Tom Taylor is set to be back to the game franchise to write a new title. Also, Ed Boon teased that a port for PC is likely to be developed.
It was, too, disclosed at San Diego Comic-Con that Supergirl was moved to Earth between "Injustice 1" and "Injustice 2."
"Injustice 2" is expected to be released in 2017 developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the second installment to the 2013 "Injustice: Gods Among Us."
