It has been said that "Sons of Anarchy" prequel is now in the works as Kurt Sutter recently revealed a photo of a group of bikers on his Twitter page. Although the fan-favorite Charlie Hunnam refused to star the upcoming spin-off, it might feature another A-list actor.
Brad Pitt On 'Sons Of Anarchy' Prequel
Sadly, Jax Teller won't be seen in the upcoming "Sons of Anarchy" prequel as it will tell the story of his father, John and the patriarch's era.
There are swirling rumors that Kurt Sutter will employ Brad Pitt to play the role of Jax Teller's dad as John.
To recall, Charlie Hunnam told Men's Journal that Kurt Sutter is now in the talks to have Brad Pitt on "Sons of Anarchy" prequel.
"Kurt [Sutter] is trying to get it going. Did you read that about Brad Pitt maybe playing my dad? Brad Pitt as John Teller. How awesome would that be?" Charlie Hunnam revealed.
The Alleged Plot
Meanwhile, Kurt Sutter recently unveiled that the upcoming "Sons of Anarchy" prequel would be all about the California motorcycle group called the Mayans, according to MNR Daily.
It was also reported that "Sons of Anarchy" prequel might bear the title, "Mayans MC" or "The First 9," and will see the comeback of Emilio Rivera as Marcus Alvarez.
There are claims that "Sons of Anarchy" prequel will be set in the 1960s and will tell the history of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original (SAMCRO) bikers.
Charlie Hunnam Rejects 'Sons Of Anarchy' Prequel
Meanwhile, Charlie Hunnam rejects the proposal of doing "Sons of Anarchy" prequel as he is now busy doing a movie with Guy Ritchie called "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword," Hall of Fame noted.
Charlie Hunnam will play the lead role King Arthur and will be against his antagonist Vortigern, played by Jude Law. He even teased that his portrayal of the iconic role is far more different compared to others.
"He is a bit rough around the edges, but he is basically a survivor. There is definitely a harder edge than people would imagine," Charlie Hunnam told Entertainment Weekly.
Kurt Sutter has yet to announce the air date of "Sons of Anarchy" prequel, but the production is believed to start in 2017.
