"Naruto Shippuden" fans were left hanging with episode 467 of the wildly popular anime, which aired on July 7, and the "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 468 was announced to be missing its July 14 premiere date, as the show took a break. Fans can rest easy now though because the new episode will be airing very soon.
In the "Naruto Shipudden" Episode 467, entitled "Ashura's Decision," Ashura had stumbled upon a village afflicted by a terrible plague. Throughout the episode, he discovered that the Divine Tree is the cause of the villagers' ailments. The Tree's sap is contaminating the crops of the village, causing illness.
The "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 467 proceeds as Ashura tells the villagers that they should destroy the Tree, but the villagers are understandably reluctant, as they depend on the Tree for the fertility of the crops, and their overall prosperity.
Ashura goes on to use his Ninshu to create a well that will supply the villagers with water, even after the Tree has ceased to provide for them. The villagers had previously also tried to build a well, but they were always faced with solid rock that prevented them from going deep. The "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 467 ends with Ashura successfully creating the well.
"Naruto Shippuden's" Episode 468 will be entitled "The Successor" and will air on July 21.
