The 2016 rebooted version of “Ghostbusters” is slowly building up its hype and like most films, a corresponding game is not far behind. A preview of the game version has popped up and from the looks of it, the game will be something to check out.
Worth noting is that the game is not an adaptation to the latest movie as pointed out by Screen Rant. Hence, there could be slight differences when players venture out to hunt the paranormal.
The whole move is seen as a good one, widening the possibilities and allowing the creative team more freedom as far as the direction of the game. The only thing certain is that the game will be featuring the co-op brand of play, meaning players can play whoever among the new “Ghostbusters” to use.
Ghosts and Ghouls warned
The preview breaks the ice a bit on what to expect on the “Ghostbusters” game. The ghouls are seen in a classroom goofing around in what looks like a school made to house the paranormal. While the mischief in such a setting is only normal, it wasn’t until an announcement was made via the school’s PA system.
The announcement was a warning to all paranormals that there is a new team of “Ghostbusters” in town and they are armed with upgraded equipment and now better prepared to fight ghosts and ghouls.
In all, all ghosts are warned “not to get busted”. Right on cue, the iconic “Ecto -1” arrives with a proton pack sent crashing through the window.
