Latest rumors claimed that the "Vikings" and its storyline is twisted particularly for the great and mighty Ragnar. Also, rumors of the season facing the fears of cancellation due to being threatened by the strong presence of the "Game of Thrones" arise as well.
The "Vikings" has enjoyed many successful seasons, which is why with its midseason hiatus ongoing, the fans and followers of the series did not take the rumors of cancellation lightly.
Since there has not been any affirmation from the showrunners, the "Vikings" is still assumed for comeback in its designated timeframe for its airdate.
According to Christian Today, when History Channel released a go signal to render a prolonged hiatus for the epic series, the "Vikings," it sparked lot of confusion as to when it would reign in the small screens.
As for the season being cancelled, that notion should be disregarded since History Channel has not affirmed it. Moreover, there are still 10 episodes left that are waiting airtime for the "Vikings."
As for the episodes and scenes, there are presumptions that the forthcoming scenes of the "Vikings" would be bloodier, deadlier and even unforgiving.

On a different note, a separate post from Yibada, although there were former assumptions that the "Vikings" would return in the month of July, that notion has just been outranked.
It appears that there would be a new airdate for the midseason premiere of the "Vikings" and that has resulted into worries and apprehensions for the fans and followers of the series.
Moreover, with History Channel remaining silent on the present ordeals, fans and followers could not help but wonder on how the "Vikings" would fare once it returns on the small screen.
Even though there are rumors rising and falling, the "Vikings" is still expected to premiere in the fall season, but that remains to be seen as well.
