First, it was Wilmer Valderrama, now another actress is set to join the cast of "NCIS" Season 14. Jennifer Esposito joins the long-running American television series as a new agent.
Jennifer Esposito On 'NCIS' Season 14
Jennifer Esposito will play the role of NCIS Special Agent Alexandra "Alex" Quinn. The 43-year-old star will be an experienced agent on "NCIS" Season 14 who dumped her field work to become a coach at the Law Enforcement Training Center, according to Parade.
"We couldn't be happier to have Jennifer Esposito joining us for season 14," "NCIS" Season 14 executive producer Gary Glasberg said. "She embodies everything that we hoped for in the character of Quinn and we can't wait to have her come be a part of our team."
However, it looks like Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will try his best to get Alex back on the field, where he can use her invaluable intelligence, quick thinking and skills as a federal agent on "NCIS" Season 14.
The Actress' Credits
Aside from being on "NCIS" Season 14, Jennifer Esposito was also cast on other CBS series before, like "Blue Bloods" and "Judging Army. She, too, was seen on "The Affair," "Mistresses," "Rescue Me," "Spin City" and "Samantha Who?"
Moreover, Jennifer Esposito's casting on "NCIS" Season 14 followed her negative remark on CBS in 2012 after the network placed her on a mandatory leave of absence because of her Celiac disease.
The Promotion Of Duane Henry
Meanwhile, Duane Henry, who plays the role of MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves, is now promoted on "NCIS" Season 14 as a regular cast, as per TV Line.
Duane Henry's endorsement happens after Sarah Clarke, who takes the character of Tess Monroe, revealed that she will not be seen on "NCIS" Season 14.
"NCIS" Season 14 will also cast Wilmer Valderrama with an unknown role yet. "NCIS" Season 14 will be back on Sept. 20 on CBS.
