Many are still in shock with the unexpected ending of "Penny Dreadful" Season 3. With that, fans of the show are still having a hard time to move on and so, they come with a plan to do two online petitions.
The petitions for the continuation of "Penny Dreadful" Season 4 are now up on Change.org. The enthusiasts of the British-American drama series are calling the attention of CBS and Netflix, according to Master Herald.
Fans are looking forward that these two networks will save "Penny Dreadful" from cancellation and will continue to produce the show for Season 4.
But, the show's executive producer John Logan repeatedly said in his interviews that the ending of "Penny Dreadful" was already planned since Season 2.

In fact, John Logan already decided that "Penny Dreadful" would only run for three seasons.
Hence, fans come up with two theories that first, John Logan has a new show to focus to and second, "Penny Dreadful" Season 3 has poor ratings.
Some believe that "Penny Dreadful" Season 3 was quickly ended because it didn't reach the ratings it once attained from Season 1.
However, it looks like the petitions for "Penny Dreadful" Season 4 don't have a solid foundation since Vanessa Ives (Eva Green) already passed away on the final episode, "The Blessed Dark," of Season 3.

To recall, John Logan further explained that "Penny Dreadful" would be having a hard time to continue its tale without Vanessa Ives, Game N Guide previously reported.
John Logan's remarks annoy the fans for not respecting the people behind the success of "Penny Dreadful" aside from him.
Although John Logan firmly insisted that the death of Vanessa Ives was what perfectly needed on her story for "Penny Dreadful."
Vanessa Ive's had restored her faith after she fought all the devils within her at the end of "Penny Dreadful" Season 3. This might cause her death, but as John Logan described it, this was what she really needed.
