The celebration of Annual Longmire Days in Buffalo, Wyoming on Friday gave a major promotion for the upcoming "Longmire" Season 5 this fall. The stars of the American drama series gave the fans a lot of treat, from a meet-and-greet, autograph signing and more.
According to Master Herald, the fifth Annual Longmire Days started with a star parade and a little discussion with the author Craig Johnson. He is the novelist who wrote "The Walt Longmire Mystery Series," where "Longmire" is based.
"Longmire" fans also had the chance to mingle with Adam Bartley (Deputy Ferguson), Robert Taylor (Sheriff Longmire) and the likes. They, too, meet the staff and crew behind the success of "Longmire."
The cast of "Longmire" also graced the Occidental's late-night party to end the first day of the Annual Longmire Days.

Next day, as the Annual Longmire Days continued on Saturday, the stars of "Longmire" meet the fans and signed autographs at Cowboy Carousel Center. Later, the screening of "Longmire" Season 5 started at Buffalo Theater.
Moreover, David Shaw, an avid fan, sang a song of Johnny Cash and waited for the stars of "Longmire" to sign his guitar, as per Casper Star Tribune.
"I'm going to have my Robert Taylor signed by Robert Taylor," he said. Shaw and his wife, Stephanie Shaw, drove all the way from Texas to celebrate their first anniversary at the three-day event with the "Longmire" stars.
Meanwhile, the official fan site of "Longmire" on Facebook revealed the formal release date of the much-loved TV series on Netflix, Santa Fe New Mexican reported.
"BREAKING NEWS! 'Longmire' Season 5 release date has been announced: September 23 on Netflix!" the page captioned the snap with a picture of Sheriff Longmire.
Of course, fans get a little more excited as some Facebook users said that they, too, will wait for "Longmire" Season 5, 6, 7 and so on.
