There is no denying that the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 Episode 10 "The Winds of Winter" is among the most-talked about finale of the popular HBO series. To those few who were now able to watch the "GoT" Season 6, here's a recap.
Arya killed Walder Frey, while Jon Snow became King of the North. Daenerys, on the othe hand, had sailed to the Narrow sea to claim the Iron Throne with Missandei, Tyrion, Varys. She was also accompanied by her new recruit, Yara Greyjoy.
Before that scene took place, the partnership of Daenerys and Yara Greyjoy that take place at Mereenwas one of the thrilling part of the episode. When the two shared a desire to take sail on King's Landing, an interesting development occurred. The two flirted a bit.
The scene of Daenerys (Emilia Clark) and Yara (Gemma Whealan) making the deal at Mereen was making viewers get chills to the bones. A relationship between the two of them could spun in the next season and it's not the first time "Game of Thrones" has featured a gay relationship in the show.
This then sparked reports that Daenerys and Yara Greyjoy could be the next big thing in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Though the possibility is huge, Gemma Whealan, one of the actresses linked to the new gay relationship, has revealed that nothing is romantic as of yet.
"None that I can remember" Gemma Whealan tolf Vulture. "It just turns out the Emilia [Clarke] and I had some chemistry going on! It was probably intended in the script, but it didn't need writing down because it was so well written."
"Emilia and I both enjoy the idea" [laughs]. We get along very well, so maybe! I don't know!" Gemma Whealan stated when asked if she would like to have more "action" between Yara Greyjoy and Daenerys. "It's up to the writers and the machinations of their minds, and whether it's more than friendship is irrelevant".
Well, clearly, if the writers want that to happen, they know that Gemma Whealan and Emilia Clark are down for it. If it really goes that way. "Game of Thrones" just ended and viewer are excited for next year as it shows on HBO.
