Showrunner reveals Steve McGarrett's fate in "Hawaii Five-0" season 7
Showrunner Peter Lenkov opened up to Entertainment Weekly regarding his plans for the opening of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7.
"What you've got to remember is McGarrett's recovering, so I'm going to start the season with him coming out of the hospital, so it's going to be less than four months," Lenkov said.
Lenkov explained that Steve McGarrett will be taking more time reflecting on his life after his near-death experience in "Hawaii Five-0." He will now try to find a reason to stay in his dangerous job after realizing that life is too short.
