PlayStation console players need not be worried. Contrary to rumors, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 release date is on track and will not be delayed.
"Rise of the Tomb Raider" was released to Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles in November last year. Two months later, the game was launched for PC. Now, only PlayStation 4 players are waiting for their version and they are already getting a bit impatient.

There were fears that planned "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 release might be delayed, or worse, cancelled. This is because both its developer Crystal Dynamics and its publisher Square Enix seemed too silent about the scheduled game launch.
And it did not help that the game was conspicuously absent in the recent E3 event this year. The game's absence in the prestigious event got gamers speculating that perhaps the rumors could be true, the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 release might cancelled for good.
Crystal Dynamics Responds to 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' PS4 Cancellation Rumors
Thankfully, Crystal Dynamics wants to correct those erroneously rumors for good. The company finally expressed its official position on the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" rumored cancellation.
In the Square Enix forum, somebody finally asked the question "Has the Rise of the Tomb Raider PlayStation 4 version been cancelled?"
And the company's response was equally direct. It answer was, " As stated previously, Rise of the Tombe Raider's PlayStation 4 release date is set for Holiday 2016."

While not exactly specific, at least "Rise of the Tomb Raider" fans are assured that the game would indeed be released this year. Based on the "Holiday 2016" clause, according to Gameranx, speculations place the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" PS4 release date to be from mid to late November this year.
