'WWE RAW' 7/4 Results: The Big Fourth Of July Celebration

It's a holiday episode of WWE's "Monday Night RAW," and it's pretty much what you would expect from the show when it's a big holiday in the States. There's a huge 16-man elimination tag pitting wrestlers from the U.S. against wrestlers from all around the world, and you don't even need to scroll all the way down to figure out who wins that one on the Fourth of July. But more importantly, the feuds for "WWE Battleground" are advanced steadily without Roman Reigns, who is still suspended.

  • The Fourth of July episode of "RAW" begins with a food fight segment. Yes, you read that right. A food fight segment showing Kevin Owens as the grouchy Canadian at the end.
  • Rusev def. Titus O'Neil to retain the WWE United States Championship. He beat O'Neil via the Accolade, and threw shade at America afterward.
  • Enzo and Cass def. The Social Outcasts. The Social Outcasts were in patriotic costumes tonight.
  • Charlotte and Dana Brooke called out Sasha Banks, who confronted them. The segment ended up in a brawl between Sasha and Charlotte/Dana, with Sasha standing tall at the end.
  • Dean Ambrose def. The Miz in a non-title match. This was a continuation of their little side feud from last week's "SmackDown." Seth Rollins comes out to cut a promo on Ambrose. His match against Dolph Ziggler is next.
  • Seth Rollins def. Dolph Ziggler. Ambrose joined the "RAW" commentary team for this match. After the match, Seth Rollins cut a promo on Roman Reigns, pushing for his removal from the title match main event at "Battleground"  because of his Wellness Policy violation. Ambrose beats him up to end the segment, mirroring last week's segment where Rollins laid him out with a Pedigree.
  • Former "SmackDown" General Manager Vickie Guerrero makes her return in what seems to be a one-off bid to become the COO of "SmackDown." She was escorted off the premises by security. She passed backstage by Dolph Ziggler, who she used to be associated with.
  • The Golden Truth (Goldust and R-Truth) def. The Vaudevillains. It was a quick match. Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) were at ringside watching.
  • John Cena confronted the Club (AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows) in the ring. They proceeded to use their numbers on him, but Enzo and Cass came out to make the save.
  • Becky Lynch def. Summer Rae. Natalya was watching the match backstage, and was upset at Becky's win.
  • Chris Jericho tried to motivate his teammates backstage, but devolved into tension.
  • The Wyatt Family taunted the New Day in the ring. Xavier Woods was getting Kofi Kingston and Big E to take the Wyatts seriously, but the other two couldn't tell if he was being serious.
  • Team USA def. The Multinational Alliance. Big Show and Zack Ryder were the last one left standing to close "RAW."
