OnePlus 3 price may increase due to Brexit
Even with the popularity and demand of the OnePlus 3 smartphone, it's no surprise that the interest of the users for OnePlus came to a screeching halt following the price increase reports.
News broke that there will be a possibility of a price increase for its latest One Plus 3 handset as a result of a prospective Brexit, reports International Business Times.
The OnePlus blog explains: "Our margins have always been thin, and our expenses are mainly in USD. This being the case, sudden drops such as the one that the Pound has recently experienced could have a direct impact on our prices."
To make things clear, the blog noted that the price has not been increased just yet and they also cited that if indeed there will be an increase in price, it will only affect the latest smartphone, which is the OnePlus 3.
OnePlus 3 was released in the UK on June 14 for £309 (approximately $410) and the popular handheld was quickly sold out.
In short, this isn't the right time for OnePlus prospect buyers to be confused and doubt their willingness to purchase OnePlus 3. If they want to own OnePlus 3, they have to decide right now and place their orders while the price is still the same.
One the OnePlus 3 price increase occurred, there will be no turning back. The scary part is that we still have no idea how much OnePlus 3 will be after the price increase.
OnePlus 3: Company already faced a price increase before?
The OnePlus 3 price increase may come as a shock to some, but surprisingly this isn't the first time OnePlus has experienced this issue.
According to Independent, OnePlus had a forced price increase back in 2015 "due to an uncertain economic climate."
