It's hard to believe that the last "Bill and Ted" movie came out 25 years ago! Now, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are set to reprise their iconic roles in "Bill and Ted 3" as the two-time travelling doofuses from "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" and "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey."
'Bill and Ted 3': Coming to theaters soon?
Talks of a "Bill and Ted 3" movie has been going on for quite awhile. In fact, the third installment of the hit science fiction comedy film has been rumored to be in development for the last ten years or so.
But the only update everyone heard about "Bill and Ted 3" was when Bill S. Preston Esq. himself, Alex Winter, confirmed the existence of "Bill and Ted 3."
Alex Winter shared that a start date for "Bill and Ted 3" could be relatively imminent. But don't expect to see "Bill and Ted 3" in theaters anytime soon as Alex Winter revealed that they are still in the "early stages of pre-production."
Alex Winter says that they're hoping to begin production for "Bill and Ted 3" before the end of this year or possibly early next year.

'Bill and Ted 3': Keanu Reeves promises third installment will be "Excellent"
Speaking with IGN, Keanu Reeves revealed a tiny tidbit about "Bill and Ted 3." The actor assured fans that "Bill and Ted 3" is definitely happening although he is still unsure regarding the exact timeline of the much-awaited installment.
Keanu Reeves teased fans about the third installment of the franchise sharing the plot of "Bill and Ted 3" to Entertainment Tonight.
"It's funny!" Keanu Reeves said. "It's about the pressure of Bill and Ted having to save the world and it not quite working out."
In the words of his famous character, Ted "Theodore" Logan, Keanu Reeves described "Bill and Ted 3" as "Bodacious, excellent, and heartwarming."
