Tyrese Gibson has a crush. The 37-year old Grammy-nominated artist and "Fast & Furious" actor seems to be fancying the franchise's newcomer, "Mad Max: Fury Road" actress Charlize Theron. Gibson gushed that he got Theron's mobile phone number and went as far as "flirting."
The actor told E! News that he and Theron were trying to set up a playdate for their children, and even called the actress "sweet." Gibson was previously married and has an eight-year old daughter named Shayla. Theron is an adoptive mother to two children. The actor had nothing but praises for Theron, the newest addition to the highly anticipated "Fast 8" film, the first without Paul Walker in it.
"I can tell you Charlize really came into this thing and set the tone for all of us," Gibson said. "Charlize really elevated us on an inspiration level."
Gibson added that he and the rest of the "Fast 8" team need to keep up with Theron, because she's definitely "killing it." The 40-year old actress is indeed killing it in the business, as she won a Critics' Choice Movie Award in the Best Actress in an Action Movie category and a Saturn Award i the Best Actress category for her work in "Mad Max: Fury Road," which was directed George Miller and also starred Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult, and Hugh Keays-Byrne.
Theron recently reprised her role as Queen Ravenna in "The Huntsman: Winter's War," the sequel to the 2012 fantasy, "Snow White and the Huntsman." She is also set to play undercover MI6 agent Lorraine Broughton who is on a mission to recover a list of dirty spies and avenge the death of a fellow agent in the David Leitch-directed thriller, "The Coldest City," due in August 2017.
"Fast 8" is expected to hit big screens theaters on April 12, 2017.
