Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Latest News, Release Date & Update: Phablet Will Have 3,400 mAh battery, not 4,000 [SPECS, FEATURES]

The days are fast going by and the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is almost here. The name is practically confirmed (from Galaxy Note 6 to 7) and most of the rumored features have gotten a lot of folks up and excited.

Most of that was covered in a previous post here on Game N Guide though there a new update may alter at least one part. It has nothing to do with the features but more on the batter that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with.

Tech Journalist Eldar Murtazin bares that the Galaxy Note 7 will come with a 3,400 mAh battery rather than the previously mentioned 4,000 mAh that has been constant in the rumor mill according to a report. The slight decrease in mAh may not be a big deal though power storage capacities are now questioned.

Murtazin is reliable and has been on top of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 rumors so far, similar to what Evan Blass has been doing. Other than that, most of the specs coming from his sources through reports have been consistent as to what the Galaxy Note 7 will be offering.

That includes the Galaxy Note 7 sporting a 5.8-inch Quad HD display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC or Exynos 8893 processor, 6 GB of RAM, water resistant, iris scanner and a new Touchwiz interface.

As previously noted, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to come with 64 GB of internal storage which can be expandable through microSD. It will have a 12 MP main camera and a 5 MP front-facing shooter, CNet reports.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be launched on August 2 when the company hosts its Galaxy Unpacked event. This takes place at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City.

Pricing and availability are still a mystery for now but all that will likely be revealed in August once the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is officially out in the open.
