Thus far, hacking groups like Pangu and TaiG have found it tough to crack Apple’s official mobile operating systems out in the open which led many to believe that even the iOS 10 will be spared.
iOS 10 has yet to come out in the open but a regular jailbreaker who goes by the handle “iH8sn0w” claims to have already cracked the code.
“iH8sn0w” gave people something to ponder about when he posted a YouTube video to demonstrate his iOS 10 hacking feat.
The video shows him using an iPhone 5 running on Cydia on the iOS 10 developer preview which Trusted Reviews sees as a noteworthy benchmark to prove that jailbreaking of most recent versions of iOS can be done.
Unfortunately the video is all jailbreaking fans can delve of right now with “iH8sn0w” seemingly not inclined to make his breakthrough public. If he does have plans of bringing out in the open, the time of when that may happen is anyone’s guess.
Apple’s hard crack code coming to an end?
Authentic or not, Apple has yet to comment on the breakthrough. Though question are afloat, Apple developers are likely to check in on the claim and see if the breach is indeed possible.
Apple has yet to release iOS 10, something that is expected to happen in the Fall. With enough time to see for themselves, it won’t come as a surprise if Apple does come up with a fix to the alleged jailbreak that should send jailbreakers back to square one.
The latest rumors follow a previous report where iOS 10 will reportedly be bringing in a wide array of features highlighted by rich notifications.
3D Touch functionality is one key feature limited to latest iPhone models but the rumored rich notifications are believed to be the savior for older iPhones.
‘Rich Notifications’ may do the trick for older phones, something that could be done using long holds that will eventually pop up a notification under iOS 10.
But like this new iOS 10 Jailbreak, even that feature remains unofficial for now.
