Rockstar upset the game aficionados at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 as its parent company, Take-Two, didn't drop any news about the coming of "Grand Theft Auto 6." However, there are new speculations that "GTA 6" will be made in London leaving its usual American settings.
'Grand Theft Auto 6' In London
There are no concrete proofs that "Grand Theft Auto 6" will be set in London, but the news is now starting to swirl online, according to Alphr.
It might be good to see "Grand Theft Auto 6" in London, although it has been known that the video game series is identified with its U.S. scenery.
Also, making "Grand Theft Auto 6" based in London includes a lot of work. It has to replace its usual U.S. car models, brands and more to U.K. styles.
London Map
There are, too, surfacing rumors that "Grand Theft Auto 6" will have a London based map, as per Day Herald. In fact, Dan Houser, the co-founder of Rockstar, hinted that the developers are eyeing "Grand Theft Auto 6" to carry a new map aside from the U.S.
Hence, they are going to include other countries in the gameplay of "Grand Theft Auto 6" map. Dan Houser explained that they fancy creating "Grand Theft Auto 6" away from the custom American culture.
It quickly comes to mind that they are talking about a European country, which seems to be England. But, "Grand Theft Auto 6" map has a possibility to feature other nations, too.
Rockstar Games
"Grand Theft Auto" developer, Rockstar Games, is not yet confirming any news about the settings, gameplay and the map of "Grand Theft Auto 6." But fans are all clinging to Dan Houser's statements.
"At the moment, it feels like GTA's DNA is contemporary-ish, American-ish, English-speaking-ish, because that's what it has been," he explained.
"But that doesn't necessarily limit it to those, that's just what we've done so far," Dan Houser added, Christian Times reported.
