In the recent concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016, Nintendo revealed that the much-awaited "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be released on November 23, 2016. More so, new Pokemon characters were revealed along with a new battle mode.
'Pokemon Sun' And 'Pokemon Moon' Release Dates
Per Wired, each Pokemon game will cost $39.99, which will be available for Nintendo 3Ds. The games were developed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pokemon franchise. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are the first instalments in the seventh generation of the Pokemon series of games.
During Nintendo's conference at E3, the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" director Shigeru Ohmori and producer Junichi Masuda announced the release dates of the highly anticipated games along with new characters: Pikipek, Yungoos and Grubbin. Also, the Ohmori revealed a new place called Alola, CNET added.
Alola is a new map in "Pokemon Sun and Moon," where players can explore the games further.
Ohomori said that one of the greatest improvements of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is the animation. Developers at GameFreak have filled the games with new action. The new battle mode is called Battle Royal.
