It is now confirmed that Nick Zano is the latest addition to join DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2. The "Minority Report" star is set to play the role of Dr. Nate Heywood, who is also known as the "Justice League" member, Citizen Steel.
New Star For Season 2
"Legends of Tomorrow" is reportedly adding new cast members for its new season, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
Nick Zano's role as Dr. Nate Heywood in "Legends of Tomorrow" is actually the grandson of Henry Heywood, who is a known member of Justice Society in America and a Commander of Steel.
However, it is not yet revealed if Dr. Nate Heywood is going to follow the footsteps of her grandfather in "Legends of Tomorrow," but in the comics, he becomes Citizen Steel.
Citizen Steel
Also known as Nathan, Citizen Steel was first launched in Justice Society of America #1 in 2007, as per Flickering Myth.
His skin started to turn into a living steel after a group of metahumans assaulted him in request of Vandal Savage. Nathan, then, started to use the name Citizen Steel.
It is also not yet clear if Nick Zano will hold any super power in "Legends of Tomorrow," but it is more likely to happen.
In DC Comics' New 52 reboot in 2011, the whole Heywood family was moved to Earth 2, as per Deadline. The remake was already introduced on The CW's "The Flash" and played a major role in the story's plotline.
'Legends Of Tomorrow' Season 2
"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 will have major changes, particularly in the arrangement of the supehero group.
"There will be some new faces on the Waverider," "Legends of Tomorrow" co-creator/executive producer Marc Guggenheim said. "The team's mission statement for Season 2 is more compelling than Season 1, and at the same time, it is more streamlined."
"It's a little bit higher concept, a very clean notion that will allow the show to do things that it does best," he added.
DC's "Legends of Tomorrow" will return again this fall and airs every Thursday, only on The CW.
