Just like the previous "Mass Effect" titles, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" has romantic options for its players.
BioWare Creative Director Mac Walters explained that the video game company aims to make the relationship feels more truthful in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" compared to its predecessors.
"Aaryn [Flynn] talked on stage today about offering more freedom to players than ever before, and that includes areas like this as well," Walters told IGN. "How you engage in those types of relationships and the gating around them throughout the timeline of the story."

From the trailer, The Verge noted that it looks like the species of Krogan and Asari are back while Walters revealed the name of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" protagonist.
The lead role might be called Rider (or Ryder) that will be playable in both genders, DualShockers cited.
