It has been more than a year since the last episode of "Sons of Anarchy" aired in December 2014. Although a new season is unlikely to happen, a "Sons of Anarchy" prequel is in the works.
'Sons Of Anarchy' Comic Book
According to Inquisitr, a new comic book series called "Sons of Anarchy: Redwood Original" that serves as a sequel to the crime drama TV show will be released.
"Sons of Anarchy: Redwood Original" will be based on Jax Teller's character, played by Charlie Hunnam in the "Sons of Anarchy" TV series, that will focus on his moving on with the loss of his father and survival in the world of biker groups.
In "Sons of Anarchy: Redwood Original," Jax Teller will prove his ability to lead their motorcycle club and go against their rivalries that want to destroy their organization.
A Failed Reunion
Meanwhile, the "Sons of Anarchy" reunion led by Charlie Hunnam turned to be an epic fail event, Hall of Fame Magazine reported.
The "Sons of Anarchy" stars were set to grace the Space City Comic-Con in Houston, but in an unfortunate turn of events, the promoter of the show seemed to fool them.
Charlie Hunnam was so disappointed to find out that the "Sons of Anarchy" promoter didn't pay all the bills in the Comic-Con event.
However, he tried to pay it all by himself using the check the advertiser gave him, but to no avail, the checking account was already closed.
Then, they discovered that neither of the stars were paid, but they continue the "Sons of the Anarchy" reunion to sign autographs so their fans won't get upset.
'Sons Of Anarchy' Spin-Off
FX Networks CEO John Landgraf revealed at the winter press tour that Kurt Sutter, "Sons of Anarchy" creator, is working for a "Sons of Anarchy" spin-off after the Season 1 finale of "The Bastard Executioner."
After he advised Sutter to take a time off after finishing "The Bastard Executioner," the latter is "writing and working on an idea for a show."
"He's also re-expressed interest in getting back into another show that exists in the 'Sons of Anarchy' franchise," Landgraf explained via Zap2It.
"I don't have anything concrete to say about those two things except to say Kurt said he's working on them and they'll be coming to me soon," he said.
