There are speculations that Bethesda will announce a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One remaster of "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim" at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016. However, this news may not be taken well by some.
'Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim' Remaster Unveiled At E3
Eurogamer.net claimed that rumors about "The Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim" are true. Bethesda will announce a remaster at E3 2016 conference on June 12.
Additionally, Bethesda will announce other games like "The Evil Within 2," "Wolfenstein 2" and "Prey 2," the rumors said.
"The Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim" remaster rumor is said to have started with a trusted industry insider, Shinobi602. Another insider that goes by the name of Dragon Punch is also talking about the remaster.

Gamespot noted that Bethesda ported "The Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim" to Xbox One November last year. Bethesda later claimed it was only a technical exercise. That may have been a hint for some bigger plans.
"The Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim" remaster will reportedly improve visuals and include mods and DLCs. This is particularly interesting since Bethesda recently released mods for Xbox One version of "Fallout 4."
However, the remaster may all be too soon for "The Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim," as a report from Forbes pointed out.
The 'The Elder Scroll' That You May Not Expect
The report pointed out that the game was just released not too long ago, too early for "The Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim" remaster.
Most of the games that are remastered are at least a decade old; long enough to see the difference between the original and the remastered one.
More so, "The Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim" has visuals that look already exceptional on PS3 and Xbox 360, with all the appropriate mods installed.
One couldn't help but wonder how could it look even better. On the other hand, a Bethesda representative declined to comment on the rumors.
Bethesda's E3 2016 briefing is scheduled to start on Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m. PST. If you have anything to add to the report, let us know in the comments below.
