Capcom officially revealed the new DLC coming for "Street Fighter 5" including the character of Ibuki. However, the Japanese game developer later issued an apology for releasing wrong information to the public and the delay of the downloadable content.
Capcom's Apology
"The first thing we want to address is the release of our next DLC character, Ibuki," Capcom said in a statement, according to Gamespresso.
The publisher of video games explained that they first eye to release the DLC at the end of May but unfortunately, it won't happen.
"But in order to provide the best experience possible for our players, we decided to postpone her," Capcom continued. "We are doing our best to release the content in the last week of June."
Capcom bid its apology to every player in the world for not clearing the scheduled release earlier. Although the company tried its best to follow the date of Ibuki's introduction, it admitted that it should make it timelier.
Delay Affecting The Online Game
Capcom revealed that it had to postpone "Street Fighter 5" DLC Ibuki's release to "provide the best experience possible" for the gamers.
It, too, said sorry for the poor communication and added that it also has to do some changes in the title, as per Inquisitr. Capcom is also trying to fix the delay problems in its controller along with the main concern of rage quitting.
With this, it appears that these actions make the player quit the online game as the number of players gradually sees a decrease, Irish Examiner noted.
DLC Ibuki
To recall, Capcom recently announced the addition of Ibuki in the next "Street Fighter 5" DLC. In fact, it described her as "everyone's favorite kunoichi" in a trailer displayed at the awards ceremony of the Combo Breaker Grand Finals.
With all the issues, Capcom now assured that "Street Fighter 5" DLC Ibuki will be released at the end of June. Also, the company promised that it will try its best to issue statements earlier and with the right information.
