The legacy of the mighty "Grand Theft Auto" still resonates today. However, rumors have implied that Rockstar may want the "GTA Online" game to rest. Also, the developers have already mentioned before that "GTA Online" was not created to last forever.
It is undeniable that the heritage of this game has transcended time and expectations, but it does not mean that the game would never end.
Rockstar clearly imparted that the "GTA Online" franchise would let go of the pedestal and closed the game with flying colors. While other game creators and developers are struggling to keep things afloat, "Grand Theft Auto" is not.
"Grand Theft Auto" is a game that has remained elusive for the major details and even for its yearly sequels, reports Metro. It stands to reason that "Grand Theft Auto" dominance will always resonate and reverberates despite the possibility of its looming end.

Looking back, the last update for the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise was years ago. As for the sequels taking longer than anticipated, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick has stated that the "GTA Online" sequel releases are restrained in comparison to other games out there.
"We do expect GTA Online's results to moderate because October will be three years since we released it," said Zelnick. "Not only was it not our intention that GTA Online was permanent, but it's important that it not be permanent. We have to rest the franchise at some point."
Nevertheless, in terms of life span, "GTA Online's" own game life remains a mystery for now. In a separate post from Engadget, although the finale update of the "Grand Theft Auto" was not released, gamers can still enjoy the game to its fullest.
The report stated that "GTA Online: Further Adventures in Finance and Felony" has rendered updates that allow players to characterized the mogul life during game time.
