"Total War: Warhammer" is set to release soon and Sega featured a new trailer titled, "Conquer This World," to appease fans. The video showcases the four races that will be included in the turn-based game.
The four races in "Total War: Warhammer" are Empire, Vampire Counts, Dwarfs and Orcs. The strategy game introduces the world of "Warhammer" to new and old players. According to Sega, "Total War: Warhammer" will e the biggest and most addictive fantasy strategy game of a generation. The game was developed by Creative Assembly.
According to GamingBolt, in the trailer, the different races were presented with glimpses of certain units. The armies were also shown marching and assembling for battle. The "Total War: Warhammer" video description stated that the men of the Empire have ranged weaponry and magic. The Dwarfs are experts in war machines and explosives. The Vampire Counts have flying creatures and monsters. The Orcs and Goblins are tough and brutally strong. Each race has their own special characters, play style, units and campaign mechanics, so "Total War: Warhammer" players will have to build their strategy and execute carefully to overcome their enemies and take control of the whole map.
GameSpot provided a game review, scoring "Total War: Warhammer" 9 out of 10. Reviewer Daniel Starkey stated that "Total War: Warhammer" nears perfection when players are in the middle of a siege and coordinating an attack with an ally. Players will be tested in all aspects and required to manage complex battles with different possible outcomes. The game is a success in terms of real-time strategy design and is the best in the "Total War" series, to date. Other reviewers also gave good scores for the game, stating that it is the best ever in the franchise.
Creative Assembly is also planning to make two sequels and DLC support to "Total War: Warhammer" after its official launch.
IGN offered some tips for beginners on how to play "Total War: Warhammer" well. Properly positioning and deploying troops on the battlefield can improve their odds of winning. Use the Winds of Magic to overpower enemy beasts, as well as strengthen troops. Studying the map will make empire-building easier. Players should also take advantage of their heroes and lords in "Total War: Warhammer." Using timeouts and the right tools in different situations will be helpful in winning battles.
