For the third day in a row, more rumored features of the iPhone 7 has come out though these are highly questionable. This has something to do with the questionable rear casing of the next Apple flagship, which seems to hint at some familiar ones that the iPad Pro had to offer.
The photos come from TouTiau.com of Italy which rendered a purple prototype back casing based on schematics received from some unnamed source from within the Apple circle.
It is likely that the rendered casing was no more than a prototype in preparation for the iPhone 7’s coming in September though the quad-speaker part seems to be in line with past rumors tied up to the next Apple flagship.
Will Apple have something similar to HTC's BoomSound speakers?
As everyone has probably heard by now, the 3.5 mm jack will be taken out and that Apple will be arming the iPhone 7 with some speakers probably similar to HTC’s BoomSound ones.
Based on the casing, the porthole style speaker grille which first came out with the iPhone 6 now offers four eight-hole ducts instead of the single vent. Somehow this goes against word that Apple plans to release a thinner iPhone unless the Cupertino company has found a way to shrink down the speaker modules.
Cameras re-arranges?
Aside from the speakers, the rearrangement tied up with the camera of the iPhone 7 is also up for debate. There are already rumors of a dual-lens camera module likely in tow so it will be interesting if Apple will mix things a bit to offer something different aesthetically.
If the prototype is to be believed, it shows openings for the camera, microphone and flash stacked vertically. Could this part of something new like maybe other internal components other than a speaker?
Like previous rumors, this is something that will need more backing and is obviously unofficial. But of all the leaks and rumors already out, this is perhaps something that many would lease expect or even care.
