'Pokemon Go' Field Test: How to Sign Up & Phone Specifications Available Here

There's a great information regarding "Pokemon Go" for those who live in the United States, New Zealand and Australia. Gamers from these countries will now be able to sign up for the official Pokemon Go Field Test.

All gamers from the countries listed above have to do is to go to the Pokemon Go website and click the sign up button and it will take you to the page where you officially sign up for "Pokemon Go."

It's very simple, all you have to do is to put your Gmail or Google account on your mobile, and also make sure it's iOS or Android. If you play Ingress, just put in your agent name and agent level, as reported by 9to5 Google.

On the first page of the "Pokemon Go" blog post, it specifies the compatibility for those who are using Android requiring a version 4.3 and above and then for iPhone you must have at least an iPhone 5 and an iOS app.

Although it's pretty easy to sign up, this doesn't mean it's also that easy to be a part of the Pokemon Go Field Test. The site noted that not all who signed up will have a chance to try the Pokemon Go Field test but instead the test players will be chosen carefully and will get an email from the Pokemon Go Field Test staff.

According to IGN, the developers of "Pokemon Go" shared that they are clearly taking all the feedbacks to heart. "Because the game involves numerous people playing in multiple countries at the same time, we have a lot to test before we publicly launch," the developers said. "This is why we are asking for your help."

They also added that they, "would love for you to - if selected - download the field test version and play it. Your regular gameplay and feedback will help us iterate, polish and make the game launch-ready."
