When Warner Bros. Consumer Products publicly unveiled a brand new Batmobile for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice at the Licensing Expo last year, many had hoped to own the Caped Crusader's vehicle but only Team Galag made it possible by making a custom-made car. But instead of following the movie, they took their inspiration from the Batman: Arkham Knight video game.
Screen Rant accompanied the revelation of the movie's Batmobile with a new official description of the vehicle, which probably helped Team Galag to get an idea on how to build their own version. Using a Lamborghini Gallardo, the wealthy car fanatics have turned the luxurious sports car into their very own Batmobile for 2016 Gumball 3000.

According to The Verge, Team Galag will be taking their Batmobile from Dublin to Bucharest for three annual British 3,000-mile international celebrity motor rally. One of the team members revealed some of the vehicle's technical specifications as they took their custom-made car for a test drive.
Batman-News reported that every body panel of the Lamborghini Gallardo Batmobile is carbon fiber and it is made from tubular steel and pushes the wheels right to the edges of the car, just like the game car. It was then stated that the engine is a 5.2-liter V10 from a Lamborghini Gallardo, which makes it really powerful just like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Batman: Arkham Knight's Batmobile. The car was built by Caresto, the Swedish company responsible for Jon Olsson's DTM-inspired Audi RS6 as reported by Auto Evolution.
While the 2016 Gumball 3000 is definitely known for its expensive and eccentric automobiles, the Arkham Knight-inspired car of Team Galag surely takes the care as being the most extraordinary and unique rides to ever have competed in the Gumball event.
