"Ark: Survival Evolved" is no longer exclusively available in PS4 as Studio Wildcard plans to roll out an official Mods mechanism program. By lifting the exclusivity, this mods program will incorporate user-made add-ons into the main game suited for PCs and Xbox One.
"Ark: Survival Evolved" will begin to release The Center, closely followed by the Primitive Plus mod in the summer, according to Engadget. While it is usually an uncommon practice from gaming studios, this is done not only to recognize mods but also to introduce some fans and gamers using a console to a different content.
In the Windows Central report, the mod mechanism of "Ark: Survival Evolved" for PC called "Primitive+" will be launched this summer for all players. With such diversifying feature, 'Ark: Survival Evolved' managed to sell an astonishing one million units for Xbox One and four million units for PC in the earlier release via Steam access.
However, "Ark: Survival Evolved" move its release date to later this year. GameRant reported that the game fairing well in the early access program led to the decision of the development team to furnish more content than originally planned, therefore, causing such a big halt. Studio Wildcard co-founder, Jesse Rapczak, said that there will be "additional features like split-screen, local multiplayer, new creatures and a modding mechanic being added to the game" that also needs to be polished.
This is a considerable relief and a success for fans worldwide after a threat of a lawsuit from Trendy Entertainment caused fears that the "Ark: Survival Evolved" game will be pulled out of the market. Even though the full release is still a couple of months away, players can enjoy the free version called the "ARK: Survival of the Fittest" soon.
