The DLC for "The Sims 4" includes the Restaurant Game Pack and the Kids Stuff Pack, as speculations arise about the technical problems pushing back the release of the title for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
The technical glitch can be traced to the porting of the game to the consoles, at least according to the reports which might delay the initial rumor about the game coming to Xbox One and PS4 later this year.
That could be bad news for console players. Meanwhile, PC players have been enjoying the new update for "The Sims 4," which has been detailed in the Sims Community thread.
Nevertheless, EA has not released an official statement confirming or denying the speculation so for now, players can chuck this one out to mere rumor.
In related news, "The Sims 4" DLC has been confirmed to include the Restaurant Game Pack, which will come out in spring, and the Kids Stuff pack, which will come out this summer. The last time a Stuff Packs DLC was released was on Feb. 9th following the launch of the Romantic garden.
The DLC is confirmed in 15-second "The Sims 4" clip uploaded on YouTube, which shows a waiter taking order from a couple. In the background, a lady is crying while talking to a clown.
In the next scene, a kid is playing with a horse next to a chest full of toys for the Kids Stuff pack.
According to iDigital Times, rumors surrounding the Restaurant Game pack DLC for "The Sims 4" have been going around since February.
In the Sims Forum, SimGuruLyndsay said the 15-second clip would just be the first of the "seasonal preview" for "The Sims 4" DLC. A season, in Sim-speak, means around two or three months.
The mod also said that releasing the clip is something that they are experimenting with, but they will certainly share with fans any news or updates regarding "The Sims 4" DLC.
